PSL: Sentinel AU
Danny is Steve's guide. He is still pretty new at it and working with a Sentinel who has some bad experiences. To top if off, while working a case in Portland he finds out that a guide can have more than one Sentinel who is their perfect match.
Re: Danny, Steve and Eliot. In the office. Ironing things out
"Their security system just... happened to need servicing this morning." That Hardison had arranged for it to need. He shrugs. "Went right up to the front door an' knocked, checked all the cameras an' alarm contacts, ran some diagnostics... lifted a stinky as hell diaper an' left them safe an' sound."

There's a small pause. "And yes I know but it's not what you're thinking."
Re: Danny, Steve and Eliot. In the office. Ironing things out
He turns to look at Eliot. It is a hard look, but he reaches out to place a hand on his back. Even now he doesn't want to risk pushing him away. "Did it really need fixing?"
Danny, Steve and Eliot. In the office. Ironing things out
"No, it didn't. Hardison hacked into the company systems an' set up an error message so they'd call in for a service," he explains, as blandly as he can manage. "Then he intercepted the call an' I went in instead. They were never in any danger." And if Rachel never meets him she'll never have any reason to know what happened. "An' if it comes to it, Hardison's got me in their system as a short term employee fillin' in for a couple days with all the proper credentials." It's the biggest security company on the island, there's a good chance that even if Rachel tried to pursue it anyone she talked to would just accept he'd been okayed by someone else and move on.

"I... Shit. Can we deal with this later? I really can't when you two just have gotten out of a zone."
Danny, Steve and Eliot. In the office. Ironing things out
He makes himself look back up and meet Danny's eyes at the question, expression just as blandly stoic as before, though he feels like every muscle in his body is vibrating at low frequency. "'Course I was. We were just waitin' for the DNA results."
Eliot sighs and looks away again, still forcing his hands to sit loose at his knees. "Yeah, it's all up to what you want from here," he answers quietly. "I'll have Hardison forward you all the information, for whenever you want to look at it. If you do."

He manages not to look as stunned as he feels when Danny stands and he finally looks up at him. At his extended hand. "You sure you wanna do this?" Because he has to give him one more out, no matter how much he wants this.

"Told you from day one, sweetheart, you can have whatever you want outa this." He reaches to curl his fingers around Danny's hand and lets him pull him up. "If this is what you want, I'm not gonna say no."

Watching them for a moment, all his senses report back their attraction to each other. He can hear it in their voices and just as easily smell it in the air, as see it on their faces. His skin even tingles in anticipation of what he expects will be a kiss. If they aren't feeling the pull to bond already, Steve would be surprised. It aches in him, knowing he can't and he pushes that feeling away, fast enough that it barely registers. He wants this, and he is happy for them.
Smile still on his face, he looks away and gets to his own feet. Prepared to give them some privacy if they wish to become more intimate. It may be what he logically wants, but he doesn't think he can sit in the same room and watch them make out either. He's not even comfortable being the one doing the kissing if others are present, let alone being the interloper.
Re: Danny, Steve and Eliot. In the office. Ironing things out
Then he steps back, still holding Eliot's hand. "I think you'll like Steve's place. He got a private beach if you like swimming."

He's wanted this since the moment he first caught Danny's scent, and once he gets it he's not so quick to let it slip away. It's warm and sweet and slow, and he curls his free hand into the loose fabric of Danny's shirt just over his hip. "Think I'm the one who should be doin' the thanking," he answers, and follows Danny as he steps away, not quite pushing into his space but not letting him get away. "'s'got you, that's the part that matters," he murmurs and leans in for another kiss.

He's not really focused on that right now, though. He just needs a moment to match this back up with his sense memory, burn it deeper into his hind brain, no matter how much harder that means it's going to be when it all falls apart. "He wants what's best for you," he adds, because that's an important fact. It's probably what endears Steve to him the most, because it's also his first priority.
"Christ, the taste'a you," he whispers, trying to keep his voice low enough Steve won't have to hear it but loud enough that Danny can, and he shifts back to Danny's lips with a full body shudder as his fingers dip just below the waistband of Danny's pants.
Re: Danny, Steve and Eliot. In the office. Ironing things out
Danny shifts and stretches into the touch but as Eliot's fingers sneak into his waistband just a little he pauses. "We shouldn't do this right here and now." But he smirks. "But we will find somewhere before you leave, I promise." Even if it had to be quick and dirty in a bathroom at the airport there is no way Danny is letting Eliot leave without giving him everything he wants.

"Yeah, that's, uh... sorry," he rasps, though he still has his hand splayed over Danny's back--completely above the belt again, at least. And oh fuck, that smirk. He's so damn screwed, in every way possible... though not currently the fun one, and he shivers a little in anticipation. "Waitin'll just make it better," he assures Danny, leaning in to nip at his ear at the same time that he presses his thumb unerringly into one of the lingering marks he'd left low on Danny's ribs. His.
The knowledge that it's there settles something deep inside him, makes it easier to step back and drop his hand again, and reach for Danny's hand instead. "Guess we should go find your boy an' get outa here, then." Before his currently so very tenuous self control cracks any farther and he loses any ability to give a damn about what's appropriate when and where.
Re: Danny, Steve and Eliot. In the office. Ironing things out
But he reaches for the keys to the camaro as he entertwines his fingers with Eliot's and then leads the way out of the office. "Steve. You coming with us? I don't really want you driving like this. We can go pick up the truck tomorrow or have one of the HPD drive it back."
Danny, Steve and Eliot. In the office. Ironing things out
"I could be," he concedes, low and rough, and when Danny takes his hand again he shifts their grip to let him press a finger gently to the flutter of Danny's pulse at his wrist. It's the act of being towed out into the hall that keeps him from saying any more, things that he's sure Steve really doesn't want to hear even more than anything he's likely heard already.
Danny, Steve and Eliot. In the office. Ironing things out
Normally he'd argue and insist on taking the truck, but right now having Danny that far away will likely send him into another zone or fit and frankly it's not worth the risk. Instead he nods and smiles tiredly at Eliot. "We flipping to see who gets shot gun?"
Re: Danny, Steve and Eliot. In the office. Ironing things out
He starts heading for the door. "I'll text Kono and ask her to bring Grace by in half an hour or so? That work for you guys?"
